I help my clients clear a path through the confusion of multilingual communications so they can reap the benefits of professionally written English content.

From large corporations, non-profits, NGOs, and book publishers to individuals and fellow solopreneurs, communications professionals around the world count on me to provide carefully crafted French to English translations.
I strive to provide a collaborative experience with a focus on the specific goals behind the original content.

My experience in various francophone countries has expanded my knowledge of dialects and cultures.

Though I’m based in the United States, my international professional and academic experiences have contributed greatly to my development as a translator.
I enjoy exploring French-speaking regions and cultures around the world, and have lived, worked and studied in Canada, France, and Senegal.

My background in translation services…
I’ve worked in language services since 2009 and have been an independent translator since 2015.
I hold a master’s degree in translation and I’m certified by the American Translators Association (ATA) for French to English translation.
​
As an ATA member and certified translator, I adhere to the ATA Code of Ethics and Professional Practice. I’m also an active member of the Midwest Association of Translators and Interpreters (MATI).
My previous corporate experience as a translation project manager and French quality manager gave me insight on translation customers’ needs and concerns as well as internal quality assurance practices. In these positions, I furthered my dedication to meticulous quality standards, organization, and attention to detail.

I’m also a trainer, instructor, and volunteer…
I lead professional skills workshops in translation and project management in the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Professional French Master’s Program.

I currently serve as a Director on the ATA Board of Directors and am a past Vice President and past Director of the MATI Board of Directors.
​
I also present webinars and conference sessions to my translation and interpreting colleagues through my professional associations.
